Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi are sharing a glimpse into their dreamy wedding day!
After secretly marrying in May, the couple posted photos on Instagram on Wednesday, Oct. 2, from their celebration at Villa Cetinale in Italy with family and friends.
“Forever and always, your wife,” the actress captioned the carousel, which features photos from their nuptials and Brown’s two stunning bridal gowns.
Bongiovi also shared his own set of images on Instagram from the couple’s special day.
“Forever and always, your husband,” he captioned photos of the newlyweds. In his carousel, the couple can be seen exchanging vows under white floral arch. In other photos, the pair smiles in front of rows of tall trees. Bongiovi also shared a shot with his dad Jon Bon Jovi.
For the ceremony, Brown wore a custom Galia Lahav gown with intricate lace details. She paired the dress with a sheer veil from Monvieve with the same lace detail, and kept her jewelry and makeup minimal. Later in the evening, she changed into a satin off-the-shoulder gown.
Bongiovi, 22, opted for an ivory tuxedo jacket and black pants. He also wore a white shirt and black bow-tie.
In a press release, Galia Lahav’s head designer Sharon Sever shares that creating Brown’s custom dress was a “true honor.”
“Millie Bobby brought depth & complexity to her iconic role in Stranger Things, and now she brings grace & beauty to her special day in another iconic way,” Sever says. “I can’t wait to see her shine as she steps into a new chapter of her life and wish her and Jake only happiness, love & health for their future together.”
At the time of the pair’s May ceremony, The Sun reported that Bongiovi’s parents, Jon Bon Jovi and Dorothea Bongiovi, were in attendance at the intimate nuptials, along with Brown’s parents. “It was a very low-key, romantic affair with their closest family with them as they said their vows,” the outlet reported.
Later that month, Bon Jovi, 62, confirmed his son’s marriage during an appearance on BBC’s The One Show, saying of the newlyweds, “They’re great. They’re absolutely fantastic. It was a very small family wedding, and the bride looked gorgeous, and Jake is happy as can be.”
Days after their secret wedding, Brown and Jake stepped out together in the Hamptons, both wearing wedding rings. The Stranger Things star then gave fans an up-close glimpse of her new wedding ring during a beauty routine video she shared on Instagram on May 30.
On June 3, she and Jake proudly displayed their newlywed status during a celebratory outing to Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida. As seen in photos they shared in a joint Instagram post, Brown wore a pair of denim shorts featuring the word “wifey,” and a white hat with the phrase, “wife of the party” as they played some games, went on rides and held hands while strolling the theme park.
The actress and the model first sparked romance rumors back in June 2021 after Jake shared a selfie with Brown on Instagram, pointedly captioning it, “bff <3.” Weeks later, the two were photographed holding hands in New York City.
By November of that same year, they were Instagram official. Brown confirmed their relationship by posting a blurry photo of the pair sharing a kiss while riding the London Eye. Throughout 2022, they made several red carpet appearances together — including to the season 4 premiere of Stranger Things — and continued to share loved-up snaps of each other on social media.
The Enola Holmes actress later told Wired that she and Jake first met on Instagram and “were friends for a bit” before they began dating.
As 2023 kicked off, Brown declared Jake her “partner for life” in a New Year’s Day post reflecting on her personal highlights of the past year. Her then-boyfriend returned the compliment on her 19th birthday on Feb. 19, calling Brown “the girl of my dreams” in a sweet tribute on Instagram.

In April 2023, the couple took their relationship to the next level by getting engaged. Brown revealed the happy news on Instagram at the time by sharing a black-and-white photo of her and Jake embracing, captioning it with a line from Taylor Swift‘s 2019 song “Lover”: “I’ve loved you three summers now, honey, I want ’em all 🤍.”
Jake’s musician father confirmed the engagement just weeks later during an appearance on Radio Andy. “I don’t know if age matters. If you find the right partner and you grow together … my advice really is growing together is wise,” he told host Andy Cohen. “I think that all of my kids have found people that they think they can grow together with and we like them all.”
The Bon Jovi frontman added of his son: “Jake is very, very happy.”
In a candid interview in August 2023, Brown opened up about the moment when she knew Jake was “the one” for her. “After we met, we knew we never wanted to leave each other’s side,” she told The Sunday Times. “You can’t pinpoint why [someone is ‘the one’], it’s just the feeling of knowing that that’s the person you want to spend the rest of your time with.”

“I think so much of life is overthinking,” she continued. “The one thing that made clear sense to me was him. So I didn’t really have to do much thinking.”
She also shared a sweet detail about Jake’s proposal, revealing that her now-husband proposed with one of her mother’s rings.
“I’ve always loved that ring, it’s always stuck out to me, so she gave it to Jake. They were in cahoots about the whole proposal,” she told The Sunday Times. “I love that I can always keep a piece of my mum with me.”
And, as she later shared, Jake popped the question underwater while the pair was scuba diving on vacation. “We go under, and we’re many meters down. He gives me a shell and I turn it over and it’s a ring,” she recounted to late-night host Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show in February 2024.
