Serena Williams, the legendary tennis player and four-time Olympic gold medalist, recently found herself at the center of controversy when she publicly accused The Peninsula Paris of denying her access to its rooftop restaurant. Williams, who has won 23 Grand Slam singles titles and is widely regarded as one of the greatest athletes of all time, took to X (formerly Twitter) on August 5 to share her dismay.
“Yikes @peninsulaparis I’ve been denied access to rooftop to eat in an empty restaurant of nicer places but never with my kids. Always a first. #Olympic2024,” she tweeted.
