Gervonta Davis FIRES BACK at Jake Paul After SHOCKING Call Out!

‘Next question’ – Gervonta Davis appears to make stunning admission over potential Jake Paul fight

Gervonta Davis appeared to suggest he was going to call out Jake Paul if he beat Lamont Roach.

‘Tank’ stepped into the ring with Lamont Roach in his latest fight in Brooklyn as an overwhelming favourite to take the victory.

But the fight was marred by controversy, with Davis appearing to touch the canvas with his knee, but it wasn’t ruled a knockdown by the referee.

It ended in a draw and Davis was booed in the arena, potentially jeopardising his status as one of boxing’s most dominant superstars.

Prior to the clash ‘Tank’ had suggested he could retire from the sport in 2025, despite the opportunity of some huge mega fights including a rematch with Ryan Garcia, or a showdown with Shakur Stevenson.

YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul was also ringside having surprisingly offered support to Davis this week despite their previous spats.

Davis in the past has called out Paul to a potential fight, despite their huge disparity in weight.

And incredibly, the lightweight world champion appears to have admitted he was planning to issue a new call-out if he beat Roach.

When asked at the post-fight press conference who he planned to invite into the ring if he won, he replied: “I think he was here.

“He came in my locker room.”

The journalist suggested Shakur Stevenson to which he added: “He wasn’t in my locker room.”

When the journalist prompted Paul, he concluded: “Next question.”

It appeared to show Davis was going to make a plea to Paul, who was sat ringside reacting to the stunning draw.

Devin Haney was also ringside who is an active fighter in the division, but it is unlikely he would be invited in to Davis’ locker room given their previous differences.

The 30-year-old is significantly smaller in size than Paul, and a meeting in the squared circle seems an unlikely ask.

Davis currently competes at 135lbs, while Paul came in excess of 200lbs for his recent clash with heavyweight legend Mike Tyson.

The American would need to pile on the pounds to face Paul in a sanctioned bout, or the pair meet in a bizarre open weight battle.

‘El Gallo’ was left stunned by the result and even produced a live reaction just moments after Davis’ draw to Roach.

He said: “Man he got lucky it was a draw. He did a good fight though.

“I thought he won it but damn you just have to bring more action.

“That was just a sparring session as far I was concerned, but that’s not the Gervonta I know.”

Paul had even been complimentary of Davis in a pre-fight tweet adding more suspicion a call-out was on it’s way.

For now, many fans have called for the undefeated champion to hand Roach an immediate sequel.

But it is unclear if he will have the appetite to do battle with Roach again.
